Well, really -- who doesn't love Jenna Jameson? Everybody does, and the proof of it is the success of Briana Loves Jenna. It was her first post-Wicked movie, and her first big feature after the formation of Club Jenna, and the sales bore out the fact that people just like Jenna Jameson, no matter who's putting her movies out. Jenna Jameson teamed up with Vivid contract girl Briana Banks for a movie that combines all the hardcore appeal of Glam Jenna with the artistic ambitions of an Andrew Blake feature.

The pressure has gotten to Jenna Jameson; apparently, and she's been confined to a mental institution, where her sexual energy is both baffling the doctors and messing up the electrical systems. Apparently Jenna is so caught up in the whirl of stardom that she is manifesting different personalities as a way of dealing with the strain. One of those personalities is Briana Banks, and considering the split personalities that most crazy people are subject to, I'd say Jenna Jameson is getting off lightly. The movie is clothed in a swaddle of psychological blather. I'm sure it was fun to write and fun to act out, but as with almost any porn movie, the sex is the real raison d'etre, and with Jenna in five of the movie's six scenes, why would you worry about the plot? The first scene is Jenna Jameson's tryst with her alter-ego, and it's a hot one. Although it is slowed up a little by choppy editing and a gloomful Gregorian chorus in the background, Briana and Jenna get their strap on, with Jenna doing most of the work, penetrating Briana in both pussy and giving her anal action. It's a little more blurry and soft-focus than I personally care for, but it is a high-end production with a reputation to maintain, and everyone knows that the difference between porn and erotica is the lighting.

Briana's second and final scene is with Erik Everhard, and there's enough natural sound in it to keep reminding us that we're watching hardcore fucking. The scene is followed by another in which Jenna, splitting into two versions of herself, both masturbates as a voyeur and performs a blowjob as an exhibitionist, enjoying both aspects of herself as performer. The final scene is Jenna Jameson's first full boy-girl of the movie, the one you were waiting for. Watching her blow the doc was great, sure, but everybody loves Jenna going all the way, too. When the man finally comes around, it's a barn-burner, as usual. She starts off riding his face and then gets into a 69, before the fucking starts. Again, the visual effects and editing take away from the scene some, but the whole point of the movie in the first place is that Jenna's a star, and a little goofy camera work can't take that away. She's clearly caught up in the sex and, after all, that's what we came to see, which is as good a summation of the movie as anything else.
