Description:
Finding Mr. Right is never easy, especially in L.A., where the men are scary, sleazy or just plain awful. For jessica drake, a career woman with bad luck and bad taste in men, it’s even harder – so what can she do to find love in the City of Angels? When a coworker trumps all the cheaters, mama’s boys and players by tipping her off to the charms of the fairer sex, jessica discovers a side of herself she never knew existed. She’s never thought of herself as a lesbian, or even bisexual, but when she finally overcomes her fears, it turns out that Kissing Girls is a lot more exciting than she ever suspected – and she may just have found her soulmate in the last place she thought she’d look! Also starring Dana DeArmond, August, Gianna Lynn, and Scarlett Fay. Disillusioned with the Los Angeles dating scene, but obsessed with meeting her soul mate, upcoming jingle copywriter Zoe hesitantly follows up on an Internet ad her colleague, Becky, encourages her to answer. It's from an eccentric and witty girl named Moonbeam. Although Zoe isn't a lesbian and has never entertained the idea of a lesbian tryst, much less a lesbian relationship, she easily falls in love with the girl's personality and companionship. But as the relationship grows, she worries that actually consummating it with sex. Might not be as easy, if even possible. Will she find kissing girls as easy as falling in love?

Lighthearted comedy might not be the first thing that leaps to mind when you think of Michael Raven, but if he keeps making movies like Kissing Girls, that could be the case. It's the story of a working girl -- not that kind of working girl, she's an editor -- who's getting tired of dating around. She's looking for a soulmate -- chicks, what are you going to do with them? -- and she isn't getting what she needs from the collection of cheaters, freaks and losers that the LA dating scene provides (most of these guys are played by various cast members in a little dating montage halfway through the movie). When a coworker points out that a little girl/girl action might be just the ticket, it starts her on a voyage of discovery that not only leads her to some fun new places, but sheds some light on other areas of her life that could use some loosening up. Raven has a light touch with the comedy -- he holds Randy Spears back and doesn't give Barrett Blade any lines at all -- and doesn't overpower the woman-centric theme of the movie with a lot of weighty male performances. The three main characters in the movie are women, with a little support from Spears, and the testosterone is kept to a minimum without sacrificing the impact of the sex; although it's a movie about a journey of lesbian discovery, there's only one girl/girl scene in it. We open on jessica drake having what is obviously lovers' sex with Eric Masterson -- bedroom sex, but still hardcore, with lots of good open legs and close shots. There's mutual oral, spoon, reverse cowgirl, with jessica provocatively fingering her ass and moaning up a storm and Masterson shooting a prodigious load on her tits and belly, and she obviously likes what she gets -- except it turns out that in the morning she has to leave because his wife is coming in. Where she has been all night we don't know, but a doorstep encounter ends in a breakup and a lump on the head. The next day at work, her coworker August suggests an alternative to the round of losers jess has been dating -- a girl seeking girl ad placed by someone who sounds perfect for her. She's not too sure about it, though -- she's never considered girls before, and it's going to take some thinking about (she likes to think when she drives, so a fair amount of dialogue takes place in her car). Meanwhile, August is getting some action from their boss, Randy Spears, and they have a great scene together. August is hot as always, with fake but nice tits and a great lithe, tan body. Their boss/secretary scene is just what you would want out of a little office fuckery -- doggy-style over the desk, a blowjob in the swivel chair, and a facial on the kneeling assistant. jessica finally decides to take the step and she gets in touch with Dana DeArmond, who plays an unrealistically together hippie girl -- I think the idea was to contrast her footloose ways with jessica's uptight Type A behavior, but Raven doesn't really take it that far, preferring to make her seem like a person that jess might like if she could loosen up. Over dinner the two discuss girl/girl action, and Dana tells the story of the first time she ever saw a naked girl -- it was when her babysitter's boyfriend came over one night and Dana watched them get it on. Scarlett Fay and Barry Scott put on a good show, although they are in no way convincing as teenagers. Fay is a cute redhead with great teardrop-shaped tits and a languid way with a blowjob; the scene is a good one. jess reveals in turn that she has long had a fantasy about a threesome -- the only way she has considered being with another girl, it seems -- and her fantasy plays out as a threeway with Barrett Blade getting caught between drake and Gianna Lynn. Lynn has no lines and isn't in a starring role, but she still shines, as usual. Blade has no lines either, and the scene is a pure-sex romp, with the girls helping Blade and each other to a series of orgasms. It's exactly what you'd expect from two of Wicked's top contract stars.
Collapse.
