I bought this after watching the second Russian Institute film but was very disappointed with the first. The girls are gorgeous and the location and uniforms are convincing enough for a porn film but it just didn�t work as well as the second in the series. There were split screen shots early on sometimes showing 3 different angles of a scene at the same time and distracting jump cuts back and forth to another story instead of rounding off scenes and moving on. The first twenty minutes seemed to have parts missing when a new arrival played by Sharka Blue was seen being initiated at an evening class by her classmates and a gorgeous teacher with a strapon. The teacher with the strapon is in the second film too but only for a fully clothed few seconds.This initiation happens almost immediately in a scene that just didn�t work. In fact I found the whole film didn�t really work until the last twenty minutes but by that time I was already deflated. A kitchen scene was wasted because one of the girls was so loud she became annoying, admittedly it was for part of the story but it became so distracting and went on far too long. In the same kitchen scene Kathy Anderson was being fucked on a counter and was enthusiastically groaning with every thrust but continued to groan even when the man�s penis accidentally came out! I did get a renewed interest in Sandra Shine and Mya Diamond though because they do have fantastic breasts and every now and then a star would be in shot and I�d want to see more of her featured too like the gorgous teacher. The extras consisted of a camera following the stars around during the shoot and even having lunch, a few trailers, one of which I am particularly interested in and some amusing adverts for safe sex. I�m surprised that there are more lessons in this series after a clumsy first instalment but I�m sure more were planned anyway. A very week first lesson from the Russian Institute but having seen the much improved second film things should hopefully continue beyond with that new standard and it hasn't put me off interest in the series.

Finally settling down towards the end of the disc with less flasht direction. The first twenty minutes seemed to have parts missing when a new arrival played by Sharka Blue was seen being initiated at an evening class with her classmates almost immediately in a scene that just didn�t work. (Her hot teacher featured in this scene but she didnt appear agian and only briefly in the second film in the series.)In fact I found the whole film didn�t really work until the last twenty minutes but by that time I was already deflated. Having never seen a Marc Dorcel production before I was a little worried as to how they would deal with the language barrier, this was not a problem as the story is told completely through narration, and you can choose between 7 different languages from the start.

Russian Institute 1 is set in a Russian Boarding school for girls of the nouveau rich, Natalia our stunning 20 year old heroine has been sent there by her mother after the death of her father so her mother can carry on an affair with her husbands best friend, that and a sex scene between them aside we get to the main story. Natalia�s introduction to boarding school life.

Lessons at this boarding school consist of one thing alone, the girls are being taught the art of seduction, this involves Natalia being fucked by her classmates, 1 wearing a strap on while the others watch and stroke her and themselves. Natalia wakes next morning not sure whether this is a dream or it actually happened.

During the day the girls have lessons and some sneak in boys for sex sessions. However it is at night that the real fun and games take place!!!! Before lights out the girls wonder around semi naked, some smoking, some pillow fight all look stunning, but once the lights go out they start sneaking off for their own private adventures. 2 girls nip down to the kitchens for a midnight snack, only to be caught by the headmistresses husband, he promptly fucks them both, other girls head off to meet up with a group of boys and they proceed to fuck, all watched by Natalia.

Russian Institute 1 is a fantastically shot production filled with hot and horny sex. The girls are stunning and dressed as they are in schoolgirl outfits they are breathtaking. This is pornography at its most lavish and sensual, it is wonderful to see such high production values, it is a real pleasure to watch. If you have not seen a Marc Dorcel production before there is no better place to start, as for me I am off to find Russian Institute #2 this is a sequel I just have to see.
